Country music artist Jon Pardi has announced the postponement of his upcoming performances in Macon, GA, and Biloxi, MS, due to his illness. The star revealed he is too unwell to perform this weekend, expressing his disappointment in a heartfelt video shared on social media.
On Friday afternoon, Pardi addressed his fans, stating, “I’m feeling very sick,” and emphasized that rescheduling the shows was the most responsible choice. He didn’t want to risk delivering a subpar performance while battling his health issues.
In the video, he expressed, “Unfortunately, this is news I don’t like giving. I’m going to have to reschedule Macon, Georgia and Biloxi Mississippi this weekend. I’m very sick.” Pardi had just performed in Wilmington, North Carolina, the previous night, where he admitted he struggled to complete the show.
He explained, “I gave it all I had last night and I want to be 100% for everybody.” Pardi apologized for any inconvenience caused to fans who may have made travel arrangements for the shows. He stressed that he wanted to inform them as soon as possible to avoid any unnecessary trips.
Jon Pardi reiterated his reluctance to perform while feeling unwell, stating, “I don’t want to be up there not feeling well.” Both shows originally scheduled for October 2 in Macon and October 3 in Biloxi will be rescheduled, with all previously purchased tickets honored for the new dates or refunds available at the point of purchase.
The Gamblin’ Man Tour, which began on September 17, is set to run until November 14, culminating in a performance in Independence, MO. Joining him on tour are artists Alexandra Kay and Sadie Bass, contributing to a lively atmosphere as they travel across the country.
Pardi thanked his supporters for their understanding and assured them that he is working on rescheduling the affected shows. He encouraged fans to hold onto their tickets, promising to keep them updated on developments. “I appreciate it once again and stay tuned. I’ll keep you informed all day. Thank you,” he concluded.
