Since appearing on The Voice, Caroline Alexis has been actively creating new music and contemplating the next steps in her country music career.
The Alabama native has always dreamed of a career in music, but her journey to The Voice was quite unique. Her passion for performing blossomed in high school through theater, pageants, and various performances. However, she decided to pivot and pursue law, eventually graduating and preparing for the bar exam when an opportunity to audition for The Voice arose.
Caroline secured a spot on Team Riley Green in Season 30, wowing the coaches with her rendition of Rascal Flatts’ “Take Me There.” She moved on to the Battle Rounds, where she faced Everett Bounds in a duet of Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn’s classic “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man.” Although Bounds won that round, Alexis is eager to apply the valuable lessons learned and continue her pursuit of becoming a country artist.
Since leaving the show, the 25-year-old has been intensely focused on songwriting, aiming to release new music soon. Currently based in Alabama, she is not only working on her music but also planning to sit for the bar exam in February 2027. Despite her legal aspirations, music remains her top priority.
Caroline shared her journey of discovering her love for performing, recalling shy moments singing alone in her bathroom. It wasn’t until her senior year of high school, when she landed the role of Donna in the production of Mamma Mia, that her passion truly ignited. She remarked on the thrill of performing and how it encouraged her to pursue a career in music.
When asked about juggling law school and her music career, Caroline emphasized that both paths are a testament to her hard work and determination. She decided to postpone her bar exam to focus on her music career, reflecting on the importance of not wondering what could have been.
Caroline hopes her journey inspires others to understand that music has always been her primary dream. Stepping onto the stage for her blind audition was a surreal experience, and she expressed gratitude for her progress on the show.
Since her time on The Voice, Caroline has been diligently writing and preparing to record new music. She aims to incorporate traditional country sounds into relatable songs for her audience. She is also open to collaborating with fellow artists, including fellow contestant Everett Bounds.
While she plans to take the bar exam, Caroline remains open to a full-time music career. She continues to surprise herself and her friends with her diverse interests and accomplishments.
