Lainey Wilson is officially set to return as the host for the 60th Annual CMA Awards, as announced by the CMA and ABC. This marks her third consecutive year leading the prestigious event and her second solo hosting role, having previously co-hosted with Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan.
During a recent appearance on ESPN’s “College GameDay,” which celebrated its 500th episode back in her home state of Louisiana, Wilson expressed her enthusiasm about hosting the awards again. “I couldn’t be more excited to be hosting the CMA Awards again this year, especially with it being the 60th anniversary,” Wilson stated. “I’ve had so much fun hosting the last two years, and this one’s going to be extra special. Can’t wait to see y’all in November!”
The landmark awards show will take place live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 18, at 8/7c. Fans can tune in on ABC and Disney+, with the show available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
Tickets for the 60th Annual CMA Awards will go on sale on Friday, September 18, and can be purchased through CMAworld.com/tickets.
The anticipation for “Country Music’s Biggest Night” begins on Thursday morning, September 10, when the CMA will announce the nominees. This reveal will first be made on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” followed by a livestream on the CMA’s official YouTube channel starting at 8 a.m. CT.
