Stella Lefty Addresses Her Exit from the Tour
Stella Lefty has finally spoken out following her unexpected withdrawal from Tucker Wetmore’s Brunette World Tour.
Apology to Fans
Over the weekend, the artist, whose real name is Stella Lefkofsky, took to her social media platforms to share her thoughts on her absence from the much-anticipated shows where she was set to open for Wetmore. Although she confirmed her departure from the tour, she refrained from disclosing any specific reasons for her decision.
Communication with Supporters
In her message, Lefty expressed her sincere apologies to fans who may have purchased tickets in hopes of seeing her perform. She admitted that she had initially been advised against making a public announcement regarding her exit, which she now considers a misstep. Lefty stated, “I just want to apologize to everyone for not announcing sooner that I’m not opening on the Tucker [Wetmore] dates. I love Tucker, and I know the shows are going to be amazing. I wanted to announce that earlier, but I was advised not to, which was a mistake. I’m so sorry to anyone that bought tickets to see me; please send me a DM and we can figure something out.”
Celebrating New Music
As she navigates this change, Stella Lefty is also reveling in the success of her debut album, Long Way Home. The album features 14 tracks, including her breakout single, “Boston,” which has impressively spent 19 weeks rising on the charts and gaining traction on both Country and Pop radio.
Recent Performances
Continuing to promote “Boston,” Lefty recently made her late-night television debut, performing the song on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Additionally, she shared the stage with Marcus Mumford at Madison Square Garden in New York City, showcasing her talent to a wider audience.
Acknowledgment at Awards
Her work has not gone unnoticed; “Boston” has earned her a nomination for Best Country at the MTV Video Music Awards, while she herself has been recognized as a contender for Best New Artist.
Launching Her Own Tour
Just days after her announcement about exiting the Brunette World Tour, Lefty shared exciting news about her own upcoming venture. She is set to embark on her first headlining tour, the Long Way Home Tour. In her social media post, she expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I’m so so excited to be back on the road and sing these new songs with you guys in person! Thank you for the love on my debut album (eek) your support means EVERYTHING to me. I love you, and I can’t wait to sing and dance soon!!! ILYYYYYYY.”
