As his wife, Hallie Ray, prepares to give birth to their second child, Parker McCollum is making family a priority. The country music star has postponed his remaining performances this week to be present for the arrival of their baby boy.
The Texas musician took to social media on Wednesday evening to share his joy with fans. He expressed his excitement about becoming a father for the second time, saying, “Hey everyone, I wanted to share some good news with you all. My beautiful wife is blessing our family with our second baby, and it’s looking like he’ll be here tomorrow! I couldn’t be more excited to become a dad for the second time.”
In his message, Parker noted that he would need to reschedule his upcoming concerts. “Unfortunately, that means I’ve got to reschedule the rest of this weekend’s shows. Once I step off the stage at Red Rocks, I’m headed straight home to be with the family. I hate having to make that call, but family comes first,” he explained.
The concerts in Omaha and Kansas City have been moved to September 10 and September 12, respectively. Parker reassured his fans that previously purchased tickets would still be valid for the new dates. “Thanks for understanding and for all the love. Can’t wait to see y’all soon,” he added.
Parker and Hallie Ray had previously revealed their pregnancy news during the holiday season. They shared a delightful Christmas Day announcement, posting a series of family photos taken in front of their Christmas tree. In these pictures, Hallie and their son, Major Yancey Tyler McCollum, donned matching pajamas while she cradled her baby bump.
The couple disclosed they were expecting another boy, writing, “McCollum party of 4 next Christmas!!!! another BOY joining us summer 2026!!! Merry Christmas, everyone! Thank you, Jesus! HBD!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️” This joyous news has further delighted their fans.
Parker and Hallie’s first child, Major, was born on August 8, 2024. They introduced him to the world with touching photos from the hospital and their first moments together as a family, which also included their beloved dog, Ruger.
