As summer 2026 comes to a close, country music enthusiasts are already gearing up for the following year. Kenny Chesney has officially revealed his much-anticipated return to the concert scene with the Original Vibe Room Tour set for 2027.
The buzz around the tour began over the weekend, as various stadiums across the nation shared mysterious posts featuring the tour’s name along with Chesney’s signature palm tree and guitar emblem. Fans quickly began speculating about the details.
By Monday, the online excitement had reached a fever pitch. Chesney further fueled the anticipation by releasing a short video teaser that hinted at special guests who would join him on tour.
The Original Vibe Room Tour signifies the East Tennessee artist’s return to stadium performances after a two-year stint at the Sphere in Las Vegas, where he sold close to 400,000 tickets.
The tour is scheduled to kick off on April 24 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium and will conclude on August 28 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. Throughout the summer, Chesney will perform at several of the largest NFL stadiums, including AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and Soldier Field in Chicago. A highly anticipated performance is also set for the newly constructed Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Reflecting on his decision for an all-stadium tour, Chesney shared, “When we began discussions for next year’s tour, the thought of those stadiums—full of energy and excitement—kept coming to mind. I didn’t realize how much I missed that atmosphere until it hit me. After seeing all the comments on social media, I knew we needed to make next year all about the stadiums.”
In curating the tour’s lineup, Chesney focused on fan favorites. The tour will feature Eric Church, the CMA 2020 Entertainer of the Year, as well as the renowned Sheryl Crow, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee and nine-time GRAMMY winner. Rising star Greylan James will also join the lineup.
Chesney explained, “I reached out to Eric, who performed in Vegas with me, and he was on board. I wanted to add something fresh, so I invited Sheryl Crow, and she agreed. It felt like the same high-energy vibe we had in our earlier days together.”
Chesney’s excitement took him back to earlier days of selling out arenas, reminiscent of his 2002 No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems Tour. This nostalgia inspired the title Original Vibe Room.
He remarked, “It’s exhilarating, and it feels just like the early days. It’s about camaraderie, friendship, and the fun we all share on the road. That’s why we named it the Original Vibe Room Tour—because we want everyone to be a part of this experience.”
Chesney has one final message for fans: “It’s going to be an incredible summer. I can’t believe we’re back to this, and I’m eager to hit the stage. The Original Vibe Room Tour 2027 promises to bring fun, music, and songs that resonate with people’s lives. Get ready for us!”
