Kane Brown Suffers Head Injury from Golf Ball, Gets Stitches

Kane Brown’s Golf Accident

Kane Brown is on the mend after being hit in the head by a golf ball on Tuesday afternoon, June 23. This unfortunate incident resulted in a “slight concussion” and required 23 stitches.

Instagram Update

The country music star took to Instagram Stories to share a shocking image of his injured ear, captioning it, “Shot to the head by a golf ball.” In a follow-up video, he explained that he had been taken to the hospital for evaluation and was advised that his symptoms might worsen over the next 48 hours.

Gratitude Amidst Adversity

Despite the situation, Kane remained optimistic, expressing gratitude that the injury wasn’t more severe. “I’m alive and that’s all that matters,” he shared with his fans.

Details of the Incident

Once home from the hospital, Brown provided further insights into the incident. “I got hit in the ear with a golf ball, and a lot of people think it came from multiple fairways. No, it was my own buddy. I’m not naming names, but he feels terrible. He needs to know I’m okay,” he recounted.

Brown went on to explain that the doctor confirmed he had a “split ear and some swelling.” He noted that if the ball had struck a different part of his head, the outcome could have been fatal. “It was about a 150 to 180 mile an hour ball, a three-wood slice… I’m just glad I’m here,” he stated.

Performance Plans

Initially, Kane was scheduled to perform at Nashville’s The Pinnacle later that evening as part of the Tight Ends & Friends concert. However, he had to withdraw to focus on his recovery. The hosts of the event informed the audience of his absence before continuing with the show.

Despite the injury, Brown plans to perform at Hoofbeat Country Fest in Wisconsin on June 25, choosing to travel by bus to avoid pressure changes during a flight that could affect his injured ear. “I’ll probably have to do some wedges. I won’t be able to use my in-ears. But yeah, you see the blood; it’s no joke. I’m good though,” he reassured fans.

Upcoming Shows

Following his performance in Wisconsin, Kane Brown is set to head to Calgary, Canada, on June 27 for Country Thunder Alberta, demonstrating his dedication to his music career even after the incident.
