Jon Pardi has announced that he will need more time to recover from a persistent “deep chest infection,” leading to the postponement of three more shows on his schedule.
On Wednesday, October 7, Pardi took to social media to express his disappointment over missing the upcoming performances scheduled for this weekend. He emphasized the necessity of prioritizing his health to ensure a full recovery.
In his statement, Pardi conveyed, “I hate to do this, but unfortunately I’m still sick with a deep chest infection and we have to postpone our shows this weekend. I was looking forward to getting out there with y’all and appreciate everyone’s understanding while I take some time to get better.”
The California-born country star was set to perform in Loveland, CO on October 8, West Valley City, UT on October 9, and Nampa, ID on October 10. These concerts have now been rescheduled to 2027 as follows:
All tickets purchased for the original dates will still be valid for the new shows, and refunds can be requested at the point of purchase. Pardi expressed his regret, saying, “Sorry to miss y’all this weekend. I’ll see you in May.”
This announcement follows Pardi’s earlier decision to delay performances in Macon, GA, and Biloxi, MS, due to his illness. Despite performing in Wilmington, North Carolina, he admitted that he struggled to complete the show, indicating the need for further rest.
“I gave it all I had last night and I want to be 100% for everybody,” he shared. He acknowledged the inconvenience for fans who made travel arrangements, stating that he wanted to inform them promptly to minimize disruptions.
Pardi reiterated that he does not want to perform while feeling unwell, stating, “I don’t want to be up there not feeling well.” He reflected on the challenge of touring while dealing with health issues, expressing gratitude for his fans’ support and understanding.
His Gamblin’ Man Tour commenced on September 17 and is expected to run until November 14, culminating in a concert in Independence, MO. Pardi reassured fans that rescheduled dates are being arranged and urged them to hold onto their tickets.
“I appreciate all of you and thanks for understanding. Stay tuned for updates, and I’ll keep you informed as I recover,” he concluded.
