Jelly Roll Announces Extended Break from Touring

Jelly Roll Takes Time Off from Touring

Jelly Roll, the GRAMMY-winning musician, has announced his intention to step back from touring for an extended period. During his recent performance in Salt Lake City, he shared with fans that his final show would be held on July 30 at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs, marking the end of his touring schedule for at least a year or two.

Gratitude for a Memorable Journey

While addressing the audience, Jelly Roll expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the experiences he has gained through his music career. “This has truly been a lifetime experience for me,” he stated. “I’m about to take some time off and heal. Thank you for the opportunity.” His announcement has left fans reflecting on his impressive journey in the music industry.

End of a Touring Era

This decision comes as he concludes his headlining The Little Ass Shed Tour, along with participating in the Big Ass Stadium Tour alongside Post Malone. His official tour website currently shows no future events, confirming his plans for a break from performing.

Personal Changes and Challenges

Jelly Roll’s announcement follows a year filled with significant personal and professional transitions. Earlier in the summer, it was reported that he had filed for divorce from his wife, Bunnie XO, after nearly ten years of marriage. Bunnie has since addressed the split on The Dumb Blonde Podcast, discussing the difficulties that led to their separation and the future of co-parenting. Despite their divorce, they had previously planned to have a child together.

Maintaining Privacy

While Bunnie has openly discussed their situation, Jelly Roll has chosen to keep most details private, adding to fans’ curiosity about their separation. Shortly after Bunnie’s podcast episode aired, it was removed, raising more questions about their relationship.

Recent Career Milestones

Earlier this year, Jelly Roll reached a significant career milestone by being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. This moment was celebrated with the help of his friend and fellow artist Lainey Wilson, marking a notable achievement for the Tennessee native. Additionally, he has recently released a new single titled “Hands Up” and is teasing a forthcoming album, which will be the follow-up to his successful 2024 release, Beautifully Broken.
