Jameson Rodgers and his wife, Sarah Allison Turner, are thrilled to announce the arrival of their first child, a baby boy named Shepherd. The couple shared their joyous news on Wednesday, July 3, through a touching post on Instagram, showcasing a series of professional photos that capture this new chapter in their lives.
In their heartfelt caption, they expressed their excitement, stating, “He’s here, he’s a red head, and he’s perfect. Everybody meet Shepherd 🩵.” Jameson also took the opportunity to update fans about both the baby and Sarah, reassuring everyone that they are doing wonderfully. “We’re soaking up every second in this sweet newborn season. Our lives will never be the same,” he added.
This announcement comes just six months after the couple revealed they were expecting their first child back in January. At that time, Rodgers had shared his thoughts, saying, “Gratitude looks a lot different this year as we welcome the newest addition to our family! Baby boy Rodgers coming soon 🩵.”
The couple’s announcement was met with an outpouring of love and well-wishes from fellow country music artists. Greylan James exclaimed, “THERE HE IS!!,” while Meghan Patrick said, “Congrats buddy! So happy for y’all.” Drew Baldridge added, “So happy for y’all! Congrats!! Y’all are gonna be the best parents!” Other artists like Travis Denning and Cole Swindell also shared their congratulations.
Jameson and Sarah’s love story began over a decade ago when they met at a songwriting workshop at the renowned Bluebird Café. This beautiful journey led them to a wedding ceremony at The Venue at Birchwood in Spring Hill, TN, on September 5, 2021. Rodgers once expressed, “I’ve never felt more loved than I did last Sunday with all our friends and family in one place celebrating Sarah and me. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with Sarah.”
Along with their pregnancy announcement earlier this year, Rodgers released his latest single, “I Love This Town.” Currently, he has no tour dates scheduled as he takes time to cherish this new personal chapter at home with his growing family.
