From the stage, she quipped, “It’s raining, I’m pretty sure half of my dress somehow has already come unzipped.” This light-hearted approach showcased her professionalism and ability to engage the audience even amid unforeseen circumstances.
Fortunately, a member of her team swiftly came to her aid, providing her with a Baltimore Ravens jersey. Langley put it on over her dress while continuing her performance, demonstrating her dedication to delivering a seamless show.
Later, Ella took to social media to recount the incident, stating, “Yesterday my entire dress came unzipped on song #2 in a 60-minute set in the pouring down rain in a stadium full of people.” She accompanied her post with the song “Wonderful” by Stone Temple Pilots, embracing the chaotic but memorable concert moment.
Despite the mishap, Langley’s performance at M&T Bank Stadium was a highlight as she continues to achieve remarkable success on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her single “Choosin’ Texas” recently secured its 14th consecutive week at number one, placing her among icons like Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston for the most weeks at the top by solo female artists without male counterparts.
Langley’s tour with Morgan Wallen will conclude on August 1 with one last date at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. However, her Dandelion Tour is far from over, with additional dates running through October. She has recently announced 21 new shows, including performances at the prestigious Red Rocks Amphitheatre and two nights at the iconic Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.
The tour is set to culminate on October 31 in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Fans can look forward to exciting support acts throughout the remaining dates, including rising stars like ERNEST, Kameron Marlowe, Gabriella Rose, and Laci Kaye Booth.
