Drew Baldridge has had an extraordinary year in the music scene. The country singer recently launched his debut album, FARM FAITH FAMILY, and spent part of the summer touring with country superstar Luke Bryan. In just a few months, he is set to reunite with Bryan at the Crash My Playa festival in Mexico, marking another highlight in an already eventful year.
In a recent interview, Baldridge shared his thoughts on touring with Bryan, describing it as “the craziest thing of my life.” He expressed deep gratitude for the opportunity to tour with someone he considers a musical idol.
For Baldridge, this experience is particularly meaningful, as he has admired Bryan for many years. He recalls jamming to Bryan’s early hits, such as “All My Friends Say” and “We Rode in Trucks,” during his teenage years. “When I was 16, I was driving down these roads, blasting his first albums at full volume,” Baldridge reminisced.
Fast forward to today, and Baldridge not only shares the stage with Bryan but has also developed a friendship with him. Their interactions extend beyond performances, discussing various topics, including life and the music industry. Baldridge fondly recalled a recent dove hunting trip they took together, saying, “It feels like I’m hanging out with one of my best friends from home.”
Looking ahead, Baldridge is excited about reuniting with Bryan at Crash My Playa, which promises to be another unforgettable experience. “To play Crash My Playa, I’m like, ‘Wow, this is something we’ve always dreamed of,’” he shared, emphasizing the comfort and ease he feels while touring with Bryan.
Baldridge also hopes to bring his family along for the festival. He has a five-month-old and a three-year-old and is eager to enjoy some quality time with them and his wife during their trip. “She doesn’t get to do a lot of this, so it’ll be great to share this experience together as a family,” he mentioned.
Another artist Baldridge is excited to see at Crash My Playa is Emily Ann Roberts, with whom he has collaborated on the duet “Get Me Gone.” He has enjoyed watching her career flourish and looks forward to performing together again during the festival.
Scheduled for January 13-16, 2027, Crash My Playa will feature an impressive lineup, including Luke Bryan, Drew Baldridge, Emily Ann Roberts, Thomas Rhett, HARDY, and Dustin Lynch, among others.
