Dolly Parton is transforming a cherished childhood memory into a remarkable collection by introducing the initial trio of limited-edition “Dolly Dolls.” These dolls serve as a tribute to her legacy, featuring iconic outfits from her life.
Even after her passing, Parton’s team and estate remain committed to fulfilling her wishes by advancing projects she was passionate about, including this exquisite doll collection. Each doll captures some of her most unforgettable looks at a 1:6 scale.
The dolls were designed in conjunction with Parton’s new Life of Many Colors Museum, which celebrates her remarkable journey through fashion, music, and charity. This project was developed in partnership with the esteemed fashion doll brand, Integrity Toys.
Parton shares a profound bond with this collection, inspired by a song she wrote as a child about a doll her mother crafted from a corncob. The song, titled “Little Tiny Tassel Top,” reflects the essence of her upbringing. Buyers will find a heartfelt message from Parton on the packaging, reminiscing about that special doll made by her mother.
In her message, Parton expresses her excitement: “I have come a long way from that cabin in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, but I am still the same girl of many colors. I hope you enjoy these new ‘Dolly Dolls’ as much as I do.”
Before her death, Parton and her team collaborated with Integrity Toys on this project for over a year. Footage from the Life of Many Colors Museum shows her joyfully interacting with one of the dolls, highlighting her enthusiasm for the collection.
Each of the three dolls stands 12 inches tall and is designed with poseable vinyl bodies, showcasing unique outfits selected from Parton’s fashion archive. They also come with handcrafted accessories and makeup that aligns with her Dolly Beauty product line.
