The lineup for the upcoming 60th Annual CMA Awards has been officially announced. This year’s event promises to be a memorable celebration of country music.
On November 5, the Country Music Association and ABC disclosed that artists such as Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, The Red Clay Strays, Zach Top, and Tucker Wetmore will grace the stage for what is dubbed “Country Music’s Biggest Night.”
In addition to the performances, a special tribute will honor the legendary Dolly Parton, recognizing her significant contributions to music and entertainment over the years.
Lainey Wilson will reprise her role as host for the CMA Awards for the third year in a row, marking her second solo hosting stint after co-hosting in 2024 with Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan. Wilson is also among the nominees, competing for three awards.
This year’s nominations feature Cody Johnson with four nods, Kacey Musgraves with five, and Miranda Lambert with seven. Ella Langley leads the nominations with nine, having won three CMA Awards last year.
Miranda Lambert holds the all-time record for the most CMA Award nominations by a female artist, totaling 70 throughout her career. Tim McGraw is also celebrating a milestone, receiving his 40th nomination this year for Musical Event of the Year, which he will commemorate with a performance during the ceremony.
This initial lineup is just a preview of what’s to come, as more performers and presenters are set to be announced in the weeks leading up to the big night. The 60th Annual CMA Awards will take place live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 18, airing at 8/7c on ABC and Disney+. Viewers can also stream the event on Hulu the following day.
