Country music legend Clint Black has regrettably canceled his scheduled performance on July 3 at Pearl River Resort Casino, located in Pearl River, Mississippi. This decision comes after he was hospitalized following a medical emergency.

Details of the Medical Emergency

As per an official announcement from Black’s team, the singer was admitted to the hospital on Sunday, June 28, due to an infection affecting his tonsils. He is currently undergoing treatment that includes emergency intravenous antibiotics.

Team’s Statement on Clint Black’s Condition

A statement released by his management confirmed, “Clint Black’s performance at the Pearl River Resort Casino, scheduled for Friday, July 3, 2026, has been canceled due to a medical emergency. Clint was admitted to the hospital on Sunday with infected tonsils requiring emergency intravenous antibiotic treatment.”

Positive Update on Recovery

Fortunately, his team reassured fans that Clint is making progress and is expected to fully recover. The statement added, “Clint is on the mend and will make a full recovery and is expected to be discharged from the hospital later this week. Clint and his management team sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this cancellation may cause.”
