Apology to Fans
In a heartfelt message, Stapleton expressed his regrets to his followers in Lincoln and Kansas City, Missouri. He stated, “To all my friends in Lincoln and Kansas City, I am very sorry to let you know that I am battling the flu and am unable to perform this week’s shows.”
Rescheduled Dates
Originally slated for October 7 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the performances in Kansas City were also due on October 9 and 10. The new dates for the Kansas City shows have been set for October 14 and 15, while the Lincoln concert will now take place on October 26.
Appreciation for Understanding
Chris expressed gratitude to his fans for their patience as he prioritizes his health to ensure he can return to the stage with renewed energy. He added, “I want to sincerely thank everyone who made plans to attend, and apologize for this inconvenience. We appreciate your patience and understanding and look forward to seeing you all very soon.”
Ticket Information
All tickets purchased for the original performances will be valid for the rescheduled dates. Fans unable to attend the new shows can request a refund from the point of purchase before October 13.
Upcoming Tour Plans
At the beginning of the year, Stapleton had expanded his All-American Road Show, adding 20 new dates across various prominent venues. This tour has included stops at major stadiums such as Nashville’s Nissan Stadium and Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, featuring special guest Lainey Wilson.
Final Tour Date and CMA Awards
The Kansas City performances were expected to conclude his tour; however, with the Lincoln show now rescheduled, his tour will officially end on October 26 in Nebraska. Despite a slowing year, Stapleton remains in the spotlight with nominations for four awards at the upcoming 60th annual CMA Awards, including Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Fans can catch the live broadcast from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on November 18.
