Cassidy Daniels is swiftly emerging as one of the most captivating new talents in country music. With her original songs featured in the popular series Dutton Ranch, a tour alongside Brothers Osborne, and the launch of her debut album on the horizon, she is gaining traction both on stage and beyond.
Originally signed by 101 Music, Daniels now resides in Nashville. Her upbringing was shaped by a military family that frequently relocated, giving her a unique perspective on life. While North Carolina is where she claims her roots, she also spent significant time in Kentucky and Florida. Despite the constant changes, her passion for music remained unwavering.
Daniels recognized her dedication to music at just nine years old. By twelve, she was already establishing herself in Nashville, laying the groundwork for a successful career. Performing on the Broadway strip in Nashville honed her skills and eventually led to her being a finalist on CBS’s The Road.
Her journey took a significant turn when she connected with Taylor Sheridan, who showcased her talent throughout the first season of Dutton Ranch. Daniels performed several original tracks, such as “Heart Shaped Necklace,” “Crazy Love,” and “Ain’t No Jukebox,” all of which will feature on her upcoming album, produced by John Osborne of Brothers Osborne.
In an exclusive interview, Daniels reflected on her musical journey:
“Music always followed me, even as my family moved around. It became my solace, especially during tough times when my dad was deployed. The keyboard I had was my only constant, helping me cope and express myself as a child,” she shared.
Although she was the first in her family to pursue music professionally, she began singing in church and knew it was her passion from an early age. “At nine, I had a dream that this was my path, and there was no turning back,” Daniels explained.
Understanding the competitive landscape, she began networking early. By age 12, she was determined to immerse herself in the right circles, ultimately leading to her collaborations and opportunities in the industry.
Her forthcoming album, set for release in the early fall, is a culmination of her experiences and artistry. Each track reflects her journey and growth as an artist, with the backing of John Osborne’s production. Daniels promises listeners a deeply personal collection that showcases her evolution.
Before the full album drops, fans can look forward to the single “Ain’t No Jukebox,” which will be released next month. This track, inspired by her time performing in Nashville’s dive bars, embodies her musical roots and storytelling ability.
As Cassidy Daniels continues to carve out her niche in country music, her resilience and commitment to her craft shine through. Fans can follow her journey on Instagram and anticipate her upcoming album, a true reflection of her artistic identity.
