Now celebrating this significant career achievement, Carter credits her success to the unwavering support of her parents. “It seemed like the single most terrifying thing I could think of doing (which I know is hilarious looking back now),” she confessed. “It took a lot of belief from other people for me to do it, and because my parents gave me the space to follow my dream, I eventually got the guts to try. So this is not just for me; it’s for them too ❤️.”

The winners for each category will be revealed during the 60th Annual CMA Awards. Hosted by Lainey Wilson, the star-studded event will take place live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 18, airing from 8–11 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+. The ceremony will also be available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
