Carly Pearce Shares Her Thoughts on Motherhood
Carly Pearce has always been open with her fans, and her recent TikTok video highlights her candidness once again. Responding to a follower’s inquiry about her plans for children and remarriage, the country singer shared her genuine feelings on both subjects.
Honesty About Motherhood
The 36-year-old artist from Kentucky expressed her perspective on the societal expectations surrounding motherhood. While she cherishes children and enjoys being an aunt, she revealed that becoming a mother was never a dream she held.
“Here’s the truth: I often feel guilty admitting that I don’t want kids. I have a deep affection for children and love spending time with my friends’ kids, but motherhood was never part of my aspirations. My passion lies in pursuing country music and living the touring life,” Pearce explained. “We should normalize the idea that not everyone desires to have children, despite what society suggests. I’m completely okay with my choice not to have kids.”
Open to Future Marriage
When it comes to marriage, Carly Pearce, who experienced a very public divorce from fellow musician Michael Ray, is still hopeful about her future. Despite the challenges of her past, she remains open to the idea of marrying again.
“I absolutely want to get married again and plan to do so. My past won’t stop me from seeking that happiness again. My first marriage was a learning experience, and now I look forward to finding my true partnership,” she shared.
Current Relationship and Future Music
Though Pearce has kept her current relationship with boyfriend Jordan Karcher relatively private, she occasionally shares glimpses of their romance through social media. Recently, she mentioned that Karcher has moved to Nashville and affectionately referred to him as her “LOML” (love of my life).
As Carly Pearce embarks on this new chapter, her upcoming album, Honest Woman, set for release on August 28 through BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, promises to reflect her current life experiences and emotions.
