Bunnie Xo has recently opened up about her decision to remove the episode titled “The Divorce” from her Dumb Blonde Podcast. This episode featured an emotional discussion regarding her divorce from Jelly Roll, which was publicly announced in June.
In addition to hosting her podcast, Bunnie collaborates with her close friends, Mimi and Hailee Clark, collectively known as “The Coven.” During a segment titled “Ask, Tell, Confess,” they share amusing and embarrassing anecdotes while addressing secrets submitted by their listeners. In this instance, Bunnie used the platform to explain her reasons for deleting the controversial episode and to update fans on her life post-divorce.
Shortly after announcing her split, Bunnie dedicated an episode to discussing the factors leading to their separation, the terms of their divorce agreement, and their mutual intentions to co-parent a future child. Although snippets from this episode remain available on TikTok, the full video has been taken down from YouTube. Bunnie revealed that her decision stemmed from a desire to move forward, as she feels she has grown since the episode was recorded.
Addressing the removal, she expressed, “I took it down because I realized I just don’t want one of the hardest moments of my life to become a permanent headline. I don’t want to live in that.” Bunnie acknowledges that while she values transparency with her followers, she believes in the importance of healing and moving on from painful experiences.
Despite facing online scrutiny regarding her perceived quick recovery from the divorce, Bunnie clarified that she has been processing her emotions privately for an extended period. She mentioned the struggles she endured, including moments of significant distress where her friends supported her through challenges related to her mental health.
Bunnie emphasized her commitment to not allowing her divorce to define her identity. She stated, “I don’t want to be the poster child for divorce. I want to explore new experiences and share more than just one painful chapter of my life.”
Although the divorce episode garnered significant views and revenue, she prioritized her emotional health over financial gain, stating, “If I cared about the money, I would’ve left it up.” She reassured fans that key insights from the podcast can still be found on TikTok.
Bunnie feels she has entered a new phase in her life, expressing happiness and freedom she hasn’t felt in years. While she noted a desire for more privacy in her dating life moving forward, she shared that she remains focused on enjoying herself and learning from her experiences.
In closing, Bunnie urged fans to refrain from jumping to conclusions about her personal life and reassured them that she is simply enjoying her newfound freedom and having fun.
