Brad Tursi, the talented member of the band Old Dominion, recently announced a significant personal milestone: he and his wife, Roxy King, have welcomed their first child.
In a heartfelt video shared on social media, Tursi described the past week as particularly “crazy.” With a sunlit pool serving as a backdrop, he joyfully revealed that their baby boy was born on August 11, just days before his own 47th birthday on August 19.
“I can’t believe it,” he expressed in the video. “We’ve been celebrating all week.” Tursi also shared that both Roxy and their newborn are “doing great,” emphasizing his appreciation for his wife’s strength throughout this journey. “It’s just been so overwhelming. What a process. Thank you to my wife,” he added.
In addition to sharing his personal news, Tursi hinted at upcoming music projects. He mentioned that he has new solo material in the pipeline, including demos from his recent album, Colorado, which was released on June 12. The album features 11 tracks that he self-produced and largely wrote himself.
“Some demos of some songs from Colorado that I recorded right after writing them in my home studio will be available soon,” he mentioned, expressing excitement for fans to hear the initial versions of his work.
In his social media caption, Tursi conveyed his gratitude for the whirlwind of events in his life: “There’s been a lot happening here—celebrating another trip around the sun, enjoying life with our new little guy, and preparing to share new music with you all… I’m feeling incredibly grateful for everything!”
The couple first revealed their pregnancy in May while attending the 61st Academy of Country Music Awards. Roxy showcased her baby bump in a striking purple gown, capturing the excitement of the moment on the red carpet.
Since announcing their pregnancy, Tursi and King have kept much of their journey under wraps, prioritizing their privacy. The couple married in the summer of 2025 but has opted not to disclose the exact wedding date. They became engaged in July 2024, a step they took before celebrating their union the following summer.
