The lighthearted competition between country music icons Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan is once again in the spotlight, this time involving their respective Nashville establishments.
Both Shelton’s Ole Red and Bryan’s 32 Bridge are situated directly across from each other on Broadway in Nashville, a vibrant area known for its nightlife and entertainment. The two artists have a history of teasing one another online, and their latest exchange centers around their bars, which are landmarks in the heart of downtown.
Recently, Shelton posted a video from the rooftop of Ole Red, located at 300 Broadway, where he enjoyed the scenic views of Nashville. He humorously pointed out that he rarely gets to appreciate the sights because he’s usually busy performing on stage.
In his video, Shelton praised the view, stating, “The view is absolutely incredible.” As he continued, he decided to highlight other bars owned by fellow musicians visible from his vantage point, including those of Jason Aldean and Post Malone. However, when it came to Bryan’s bar, Shelton couldn’t resist the opportunity to poke fun.
“Oh look, there’s Luke Bryan’s bar. That’s weird. There’s nobody there,” he quipped, laughing. “Ghost Town USA. What a loser.” He further addressed Bryan directly in his caption, asking, “Hey @lukebryan where is everyone???”
Not one to hold back, Bryan quickly responded with a sarcastic remark, suggesting that Shelton’s age might be the reason he frequents bars at such early hours, saying, “Clearly you’re so old you go to the bar at 10am.”
Shortly after, Bryan shared a clip on his own social media while driving past Shelton’s Ole Red, filming the bar’s sign and cheekily stating, “Food poisoning, here we come.” This playful banter showcases the friendly rivalry that has become a hallmark of their relationship.
The ongoing exchange between Shelton and Bryan highlights their knack for humor and camaraderie. Given their history of playful jabs at each other, it’s clear that this rivalry is far from over, and fans of both artists can expect more entertaining interactions in the future.
