In a surprising announcement just weeks before his scheduled departure, Bailey Zimmerman has officially canceled the UK and European segments of his Different Night Same Rodeo Tour.
The country music artist was expected to commence his 2026 headline tour in the UK on August 27, making stops in Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden, before concluding in Oslo, Norway on September 12.
Zimmerman took to social media on Thursday, July 30, to share the disappointing news with his followers. He explained that the decision to cancel the shows was not made lightly but was necessary for him to concentrate on “important family matters.”
In his heartfelt message, he expressed, “To my fans, I wanted to let you all know personally that I unfortunately have to cancel my UK/Europe shows. This was not an easy decision, and it kills me to have to cancel because I know how excited everyone is… but right now I need to take this time to focus on important family matters.” He reassured fans that “everything is okay” but emphasized the importance of prioritizing his loved ones during this time.
Alongside the cancellation, the singer of “Chevy Silverado” mentioned his intention to complete his remaining North American tour dates through August before stepping back again to concentrate on himself, his family, and new music.
Despite the disappointing news, fans flooded his comment section with messages of support and understanding regarding his decision to prioritize family. Comments such as “Family first always ❤️” and “Take your time BZ!! Family over anything ❤️❤️” highlighted the admiration for his choice to focus on personal matters.
According to Bailey Zimmerman’s tour schedule, he has four remaining North American performances lined up before his hiatus. He is set to perform in Bethlehem, PA on August 6, followed by appearances at the Wisconsin State Fair on August 8, the Missouri State Fair on August 13, and finally the Illinois State Fair on August 14.
