Brian and Brittney Kelley Update on Florida Home After Isaias

Brian and Brittney Kelley Provide Hurricane Update

Brian Kelley and his wife, Brittney, have shared news about their Florida residence following the severe impact of Hurricane Isaias, which brought significant winds and flooding over the weekend.

Overview of Hurricane Isaias

Hurricane Isaias, the first hurricane of the 2026 Atlantic season, made landfall on the northern Gulf Coast near Destin, Florida, on Friday night as a Category 2 storm. It weakened rapidly, transforming into a post-tropical cyclone within hours, as reported by CBS News.

Impact on Their Property

Having owned a home in the Florida Panhandle for around a decade, the couple took to social media to display the extent of the storm’s damage to their property. In a video posted on Brian’s Instagram, the couple showcased the ferocity of the winds that caused the lake in their backyard to churn violently during the peak of the storm.

In his post, Kelley noted that water surged over their pool deck and flooded most of their property. Brittney also shared images of the aftermath, commenting on the “significant debris and numerous fallen trees.”

Gratitude and Community Support

The Kelleys expressed their gratitude, stating that they were thankful most of the damage was to replaceable items and that they emerged from the ordeal safe. They appreciated the community’s solidarity during this challenging time, thanking neighbors who came together to assist one another.

“Thank you, Lord, for your protection! There’s much to clean up here and throughout town,” they shared.

Current Conditions and Cleanup Efforts

As of Sunday, Grayton Beach was still experiencing power outages, and cell service was limited. Fortunately, the couple had a generator running for over 35 hours. Brittney updated followers on Instagram, saying, “Thank you for your concern. We’re managing despite the power and cell service issues, thanks to our generator and Starlink.”

In a series of photos, Brittney captured Brian, affectionately known as “Chainsaw Kelley,” using a chainsaw to help clear the fallen trees and debris around their home. She shared a poignant image of their boardwalk leading to the water, which was littered with debris and fallen signs, with only a table and chair remaining intact. “This little scene got me,” she wrote, expressing her gratitude for their safety.

Business Updates

The Kelleys have strong ties to the Florida Panhandle. In addition to their home, they run their lifestyle and clothing brand, Tribe Kelley Surf Post, in Grayton Beach, and own Papa Surf Burger Bar in nearby Santa Rosa Beach. While the burger bar has reopened with a limited menu, their retail store remains closed due to the power outage, prompting them to encourage customers to shop online.

Community Recovery

As the Kelleys provide updates, communities in the region are still recovering from Hurricane Isaias. CBS News reported on October 11 that at least four fatalities occurred due to the storm, with two lives lost in Alabama and two in Florida. Approximately 390,000 customers across the area were without power, but Florida Governor Ron DeSantis indicated that 95% of outages should be resolved by Monday night.
