The event will bring together a diverse group of performers from various generations and musical genres, including fellow members of the Country Music Hall of Fame, country music legends, bluegrass artists, and talents from Broadway.

The announcement was made on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” revealing a star-studded lineup that includes Ashley McBryde, Béla Fleck, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Ella Langley, Kelsea Ballerini, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Lady A, Lainey Wilson, Little Big Town, Lukas Nelson, Molly Tuttle, Reba McEntire, Ricky Skaggs, Sierra Hull, Vince Gill, and Zac Brown. Special guests Amy Grant and Kimberly Williams-Paisley will also make appearances.

Filmed at Belmont University, the event will feature a student ensemble performing as part of the university’s “Dolly U” initiative, which focuses on educating students about Parton’s extensive career and her contributions as an artist and entrepreneur.
Surprise Tributes and Donations
The tribute will also include unexpected performances from some of Dolly Parton’s friends and colleagues within the entertainment industry. The special is scheduled to air on Wednesday, October 21, from 9:00 to 11:00 PM EDT on ABC and Disney+, with a next-day streaming option on Hulu.
In a generous gesture, the CMA and Belmont University will contribute a portion of the proceeds to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, an organization dedicated to fostering a love for reading in children. Disney is also supporting this initiative.
