After extensive thought and brainstorming numerous ideas, Matthew ultimately decided to search for a new vehicle for Aldean, one that would also pay homage to one of his iconic songs.
“I settled on a vintage hot rod. I knew it had to be a ’68 because of the line in ‘My Kinda Party,’” he shared, referencing the lyrics that include, “I got the cover off the ’68.”
Discovering the Pontiac LeMans
Matthew revealed, “When I found this Pontiac LeMans on Facebook Marketplace, I knew I had found the right one. Over the past couple of months, I’ve been fine-tuning it and adding my personal touches. To me, nothing embodies a badass country singer and AMERICA quite like a ’68 Pontiac convertible. So here’s to pulling the cover off the ’68!”

In his Instagram post, the “All My Exes” singer concluded his message by expressing heartfelt thanks to Aldean for the experiences, knowledge, and inspiration he has provided throughout their time together.
