Ella Langley Unveils New Tattoos with Special Meaning

Ella Langley’s New Tattoos

Country music artist Ella Langley has recently enhanced her collection of tattoos, adding two new designs that carry significant personal meaning. These new inkings were revealed just hours before her sold-out performance at the Moody Center in Austin on August 13, creating an unforgettable evening for both the artist and her fans.

Collaboration with Tattoo Artist

In a behind-the-scenes TikTok video, Langley showcased her collaboration with Hannah Matthews, a fine-line tattoo artist from Utah, known for her work at And You Tattoo. The artist documented their entire journey, capturing moments from their travel day to the tattooing process, followed by glimpses of Langley’s concert and explorations around Austin.

Personal Tributes in Ink

On the second day of their adventure, Matthews shared insights into the tattoo session, including the setup backstage. One of the tattoos features a bird on a branch, placed on Langley’s forearm, serving as a heartfelt tribute to her late grandmother, inspired by a beloved family photograph. Noticing some extra space on Langley’s wrist, they also included a second tattoo that showcases the name of her dog.

Ella’s Joy and Connection

Langley expressed her delight with the new tattoos by commenting on Matthews’ social media post, saying, “Can you come back already?” This sentiment captures the joy of their creative collaboration. Matthews attended the concert, allowing her to witness Langley proudly display her new tattoos on stage, which now join a series of sentimental artworks that narrate her life’s journey, family ties, and career milestones.

A Growing Tattoo Collection

Langley’s tattoo collection is rich with symbolism, including butterflies and a dandelion that reflect her recent album, Dandelion, as well as a treble clef, roses, and a pine tree representing Alabama’s state tree. Furthermore, she has ink inspired by Bob Marley’s “Three Little Birds,” which was the first song she learned to play on the guitar, and a “Heart on Fire” design paying homage to Eric Church.

Upcoming Performances

In addition to her new tattoos, Ella Langley is set to continue her Dandelion tour with upcoming performances across Wisconsin, Illinois, and Arkansas. Fans can look forward to her return to her home state for back-to-back shows in Auburn, AL, on August 28 and 29.
