Ambassador Role and Longstanding Relationship

The singer of “Happen To Me” has also acted as an ambassador for the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, taking part in a variety of events designed to assist patients. His relationship with St. Jude began in 2017 when he first joined the Country Cares Seminar.

Joining a Prestigious Group

The Dickersons are joining a distinguished roster of past Angels Among Us Award recipients, which includes notable names like Randy Owen, Brothers Osborne, and Keith Urban. They will receive this honor at the Country Cares Seminar, an exclusive event that gathers country music artists and industry leaders in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This year’s seminar will take place on October 20-21 at the historic Peabody Hotel in Memphis.

Event Highlights

The two-day seminar will begin with the Angels Among Us dinner, featuring a performance by Russell Dickerson. The next day, Anne Wilson will perform during breakfast, followed by HARDY and Lauren Alaina closing the event with evening performances.

Supporting Children in Need

The Country Cares Seminar is part of the Music Gives to St. Jude Kids initiative, which stands as one of the largest music-driven fundraising efforts in the country. Supported by over 350 radio stations and music partners, the initiative raises more than $70 million annually to aid St. Jude’s pioneering research and treatment for children fighting cancer and other severe illnesses.

A Meaningful Honor for the Dickersons

This award holds special significance for the Dickersons, who are parents to two young sons, Remington and Radford, with a third child on the way. They continue to grow their family while dedicating time to support other families facing significant challenges.
